The form tab empowers the designer to create a suitable form for their workflow by simply by assembling the individual parts via drag and drop.

Import or create a new form

When first opening the form tab the designer is shown a blank page.

From here the designer is prompted with two options:

The button Import form creates a new empty form and loads the Form Designer.
The button + Create form prompts the designer with the OS-specific file picker to select a file in the JSON format.

It is not possible to import any JSON file here, Form Designer forms come in a specific format which is following the JSON file format.

Editing the form

Clicking the Edit button allows for changes to be made to the form and clear its read-only state.

If the workflow was in a published or last published state before editing the form a new version of the form is created.
